Blue sharks are a true pelagic species migrating huge distances to find mates and food resources .. super curious they love to come close and check you out, a photographers dream subject.

The only shark to have a blue colour to their skin, they are beautiful to observe... sadly their numbers have dropped significantly due to finning and bycatch.

Raising awareness of these guys is the way to help protect them and having the opportunity to be in the water and photograph them was a real privilege.
